Indiana Law Firm History and Mission Statement
Van Gilder & Trzynka, P.C., was originally formed in 1996 as a general practice firm with the name Avery Boyer & Van Gilder. After a change in the firm membership, Van Gilder & Trzynka moved to its current home in November, 2006.
All past and present members uphold the Firm's mission, which is stated as follows:
Our Mission: Van Gilder & Trzynka, P.C., was formed to provide quality economic legal solutions for clients in a reputable, professional environment, in a variety of practice areas.
Your Lawyers — Your Community
Equally important to us is that we live and work in the same community that you do. We have a stake in how people live, in our schools and in our community in general. Community service is just as important to us as is the service we provide to our clients each and every day. The result of this commitment is that our lawyers hold leadership positions in several legal and community organizations.
Each Attorney is Focused on your needs
Although we began as a general practice law firm, our practice is now more specific than in the past. There remain a few areas in which all of our attorneys have knowledge and experience—Personal Injury, Family Law and Will drafting. However each of us also has developed a specific area of law that is the focus of our practice. In these areas, we regularly take CLE (Continuing Legal Education) courses to increase our knowledge and to ensure that we are aware of the newest developments. In some instances, such as Social Security Disability and Environmental Law and Land Use, our attorneys even instruct legal colleagues by teaching workshops and seminars.
The comfortable and casual nature of our law office also means that when a client enters our door for one need (such as a personal injury case, workers compensation matter, or help with a business formation), they often come back if another legal need arises in the future. We work hard to make sure that each of our clients is handled in a professional way with integrity and honesty at all times; if we cannot handle your legal matter, we will tell you so immediately and refer you to trusted attorney who can.
